The project envisaged the establishment of an “Integrated model of fish-crop livestock and dairy development” in the country. The CLDDP has successfully established the model which is now ready for replication in other areas of Bangladesh. Proper replication of the model is expected to bring quickest development of the livestock and dairy sub-sector – a – much-neglected one but the most vital one for poverty alleviation and sustainable livelihood through balanced nutrition and for developing an eco-friendly environment.
Replication of CLDDP
Two replication project papers have been accepted by the Ministry of Finance and now under process for consideration of the Planning Commission & ERD. The project papers are titled as follows:
